Honoring Those Who Serve: Hope for the Warriors
A $10,000 donation to Hope for the Warriors, a national nonprofit restoring a sense of self, family, and hope for veterans, service members, and military families.

MOD Movement donated $10,000 to Hope for the Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, family, and hope for veterans, service members, and military families.
Hope for the Warriors was founded in 2006 by military wives aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, as they cared for service members returning home wounded from Iraq and Afghanistan. What began as bedside support and care packages has grown into a nationwide organization that has served tens of thousands of veterans and military family members.
Their programs meet warriors and their families wherever they are in their journey: transition services that help veterans build civilian careers and pursue education, health and wellness programs that address both clinical care and physical fitness, sport and recreation opportunities that rebuild camaraderie, and peer engagement that connects warriors to a community that understands what they’ve carried.
The men and women who serve in the United States military give years of their lives, and often their health and peace of mind, in service to others. That spirit of sacrifice is exactly what the MOD Movement exists to honor and multiply. Supporting an organization that walks alongside those warriors and their families as they build their next chapter is a natural fit for our mission: giving our time and resources to provide hope and create pathways to opportunity.
How to join the movement
Join us at the Boystown orphanage and senior living facility, where our work over the past eight years has improved the lives of over 600 residents. With the help of dedicated virtual professionals from MyOutDesk and the generous support of our community, family, friends, and MOD clients, we have made real progress. There is still more to do.
Right now, more than 40 seniors with varying medical needs are housed in a temporary large tent because the main senior building is overcrowded. Our immediate goal is to build housing that gives up to 50 seniors stable shelter and the dignity of proper beds and living conditions. Your support goes directly to this project. Donate today and help us give these seniors the quality of life they deserve.
