In April 2026, Station House Inn presented a $10,285 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe in support of the Club and Tahoe youth. The gift came through Stay With Purpose, a giving program launched by Playpark Hospitality in collaboration with MOD Movement, where a portion of every reservation at Playpark’s Lake Tahoe hotels supports local nonprofits and community efforts.

“We’re intentional about partnering with organizations that align with our mission and values,” said Whitney Ramsey, Co-Founder of MOD Movement. “Our collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe is especially meaningful because of their dedication to mentorship and their ability to create real, lasting change—one child at a time.”

Since 1991, the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe has given South Tahoe youth a safe place to learn and grow. The Club serves more than 700 children annually with academic support and programs in the arts, STEM, sports and recreation, and character and leadership development. It is the only after-school program on Tahoe’s south shore that welcomes young people at every grade level, from ages 4 to 18.

“This donation reflects what we believe hospitality should be about: creating a positive impact in the places we call home,” said Mitchell Murray, GM of Playpark Hospitality. “Through Stay With Purpose, every stay at our Lake Tahoe hotels helps support local organizations making a real difference.”

How to join the movement

Join us at the Boystown orphanage and senior living facility, where our work over the past eight years has improved the lives of over 600 residents. With the help of dedicated virtual professionals from MyOutDesk and the generous support of our community, family, friends, and MOD clients, we have made real progress. There is still more to do.

Right now, more than 40 seniors with varying medical needs are housed in a temporary large tent because the main senior building is overcrowded. Our immediate goal is to build housing that gives up to 50 seniors stable shelter and the dignity of proper beds and living conditions. Your support goes directly to this project. Donate today and help us give these seniors the quality of life they deserve.
